Multifloral Manuka Honey MGO 70+ benefits
Rich and mellow, with soft caramel notes.
A multifloral honey from New Zealand, blending Mānuka nectar with native wildflowers such as Pōhutukawa, Kānuka and Rewarewa. It's raw, unpasteurised and independently tested to contain at least 70mg of methylglyoxal (MGO) per kilogram.
Drizzle it over porridge or yoghurt, stir it into hot drinks, or bake with it – the caramel notes come through beautifully in flapjacks and banana bread.
A little more depth for everyday use. Available in 250g and 500g jars.

Common Questions
Which Mānuka Honey is right for me?
We have different ranges of Mānuka Honey that can help with each part of your wellness routine.
The MGO number is the minimum amount of methylglyoxal measured in that batch, in mg per kg. Our gentler grades (MGO 40+ to 100+) are mild and made for tea, toast and baking. Mid grades (MGO 200+ to 400+) are richer and great by the spoon. Our highest grades (MGO 700+ and up) are rarer, darker and more intense. Not sure? Take the 60-second grade quiz.
MGO measures one compound, methylglyoxal. UMF™ is an independent grading system that tests for MGO plus other natural markers of genuine Mānuka, like leptosperin and DHA. Every Egmont jar shows its MGO grade, and our UMF™ certified jars carry both.
At about a teaspoon a day, a 250g jar lasts around a month and a 500g jar around two.
That’s natural. Raw, unpasteurised honey sets over time. To soften it, stand the closed jar in warm (not hot) water. Avoid the microwave. Store it at room temperature, out of direct sunlight.

CHECK YOUR MGO
Scan & trace your honey
Every jar carries a QR code on the label. Scan it to see the independent lab results for your batch, including its certified MGO level.
Each batch is tested by a government-accredited laboratory in New Zealand, so you can check exactly what you’re buying.

Manuka Honey's Superstar Compound: MGO
MGO, or Methylglyoxal, is the superstar compound that gives Manuka Honey its special antibacterial properties. It is an important measure of your Manuka honey's potency.
The higher the MGO level, the more concentrated, and therefore more powerful, the honey is.
