Egmont Honey Mixed Berry Ice Blocks
These mixed berry ice blocks make a wonderful summer treat for adults and kids alike. In this recipe we used strawberries and blueberries but any combination of berries will work! Perfect to cool down on hot summer afternoons.
Serves: Makes 10 ice blocks
Prep Time: 10 minutes
INGREDIENTS
- 250g strawberries, hulled
- 250g blueberries
- 350ml water
- 1 tablespoon honey
METHOD
1. Put all ingredients into a large jug and use a stick blender to blend until smooth.
2. Pour into ice block moulds, add in sticks and freeze for 4 hours or overnight.
3. We sliced extra slices of strawberries and slide these down the sides of the moulds (one slice per ice block) once we had filled them.
