Egmont Honey – Honey chicken meatballs and Asian noodles
The meal packs a punch when it comes to flavour!
Fragrant, sweet, spicy and delicious for the whole family or date night! This dish is ready in 30 with only 10 minutes prep
time!
Ingredients:
Meatballs:
1 x tablespoon Egmont Honey
1 x pack minced chicken breast
1 1/2 cup bread crumbs
1 x egg
2 x tsp grated ginger
1 tsp soy sauce
2 x tablespoon chopped coriander
Sprinkle chilli flakes
Sprinkle salt
Sprinkle black pepper
Noodles:
1 x pack egg noodles (or your choice)
1 x bunch broccolini
1 x cup beansprouts
1 x green capsicum sliced
Sauce:
1 x tablespoon Egmont Honey
1 x tablespoon soy sauce
1 x tsp sriracha
1 x tsp crushed garlic
1 x tsp crushed ginger
½ cup water
Garnish:
Bunch coriander
Chilli flakes
Chopped salted peanuts
Instructions:
Add chicken, egg, ginger, soy sauce, chilli, coriander, salt, pepper and breadcrumbs to a bowl and mix until well combined.
Let the mixture rest for 30 minutes to let the flavours develop.
To make the meatballs, scoop the mixture and roll these into balls about 3-4cm wide.
Place them in a heated pan with a little oil and cook through turning regularly.
While the meatballs are cooking, pan fry the broccolini, capsicum with oil, salt and pepper.
Add the beansprouts ones cooked and toss together.
Put all sauce ingredients into a pan and cook on a low heat until combined and glossy.
Next, cook your noodles then add the sauce and noodles to the pan with vegetables.
Add to a large serving bowl and top with the chicken meatballs.
Garnish with chilli flakes, chopped peanuts coriander.
